Amanda is a proud daughter of first-generation immigrants – a Vietnamese refugee mother and a Filipino immigrant father. She watched her parents, an accountant and IT technician, navigate their corporate careers through quiet strength and tireless work. Amanda’s mission is to honor their sacrifices by becoming the voice and advocate they never had.
Amanda also experienced the devastating impact of workplace injustice firsthand. She personally navigated toxic bosses, mistreatment, and harassment in her previous career and knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end. It sucks. She declared “enough was enough.”
She left the corporate world for law school and now runs her own solo practice dedicated to advocating for the underdog employee. Settling in South Philadelphia with her husband, she is committed to building a life and a career fighting for the people of her community.

Common Pricing Plans
Contingency
Contingency Fee is a structure where the attorney's payment is contingent upon successfully securing a monetary award or settlement for the client. The attorney agrees to accept a percentage of the final recovery as their fee. This model is primarily used for where money damages are sought. This typically allows individuals who cannot afford hourly rates to pursue their claims.
Hourly
Hourly Fee is where the client is billed a set rate for every six-minute increment the attorney spends working on their case. This structure is typically used for litigation and complex legal matters with unpredictable timelines, as it accurately reflects the total effort expended. Attorneys usually require an upfront deposit, known as a retainer, from which these hourly charges are deducted as work is performed.
Flat Fee
Flat Fee is a fixed, one-time price for a specific, defined legal service, offering the client complete cost certainty from the start. This model is most often used for routine matters where the scope of work is predictable, such as attending an unemployment compensation hearing. Because the fee is not tied to the number of hours worked, it simplifies budgeting for the client and eliminates the worry that legal fees will continue to mount.
